This project involved converting an office space into a residential townhouse. Situated in Guildford town centre conservation areas, this three-storey building was originally leased as commercial property. With shifts in the economic climate, the client decided to transform it into a residential property.

In spring 2023, we helped the client to secure permitted development permission and provided guidance on Building Regulations compliance. The spacious layout of the building offered an excellent foundation for reimagining it as a townhouse, with large areas easily adapted into comfortable bedrooms and living spaces. The most significant part of the renovation involved turning the exiting office bathrooms into a modern kitchen and a new bathroom.
